Inspired by the core values of the Vanquish brand, this thrilling motoryacht is designed for the most discerning owners. The VQ58 is a testament to the flexibility of Vanquish Yachts: it is in essence an expansion of the yard’s previous flagship, the VQ48, designed to contain a garage for a Williams 285 Turbojet tender. The resulting substantial beam and length make it even more comfortable than the previous VQ48 and VQ50, representing a new benchmark for unrivaled fun on the water, or providing easy access to nearby beaches. Designed by Guido de Groot and incorporating naval architecture by Studio Delta, the VQ58 is a new icon of powerboat style and spirit.
Cabins
To meet the needs of those wishing to accommodate more guests overnight, a new layout has been designed with an additional extra comfortable cabin for two people – partly with standing headroom – bringing the total overnight capacity up to four. A another new option is to also add a third cabin for a crew member. Together with the substantial amount of space on deck, which can accommodate up to 25 people, and the extensive bimini opportunities, this yacht is ideal for longer weekend trips with more friends and family.
Hard Top - best of both worlds
This VQ58 with a hardtop is superbly suited to longer trips. Its open feel is further increased by the enormous sunroof, which can be opened and closed automatically. The design was created specifically for an owner who wished to have an aft section resembling the VQ50, including the garage bay for a Williams tender on the starboard side. The rest of the boat is based on the successful VQ54. The Hardtop version can be equipped with many different types of engines and drives while also offering seats or berths for at least 23 people.
Turning Heads
The VQ58 fully embodies the classic Vanquish qualities of supreme maneuverability, unsurpassed cruising comfort and elegant custom construction. A great deal of attention has been paid to storage space for a wide range of luggage, diving equipment and toys, including Seabobs. Described by one owner as ‘the ultimate party boat’, the VQ54 provides an enormous amount of open deck space and freedom of movement, with numerous bimini possibilities for additional shade. Moreover, the view remains spray-free at all times. The VQ54 is exceptionally dry both at low speeds and when planing, including in rough seas and high winds, considerably enhancing sailing comfort.
Nautical Delights
Perhaps its most striking feature is the specially developed garage which houses a fast Williams 285 Turbojet tender. This can be launched at a moment’s notice for quick trips to shore or beach clubs, grocery shopping or a fun joyride. Wakeboarding with the kids on the open sea within safe reach of the mothership, or whisking off to the quayside restaurant of your choice become a breeze. The door of the garage opens aft to facilitate easy departure and docking, while a powerful winch ensures easy handling. The VQ58 also provides a fabulous array of options for those who choose to stay on board. A priority has been given to creating a wealth of open deck space: up to 25 people can be accommodated in three different socialising areas. The interior comprises a spacious bathroom with toilet, an indoor dining space and comfortable sleeping accommodations for two. The large galley includes two refrigerators and a wine cooler, ensuring that all the conditions for picture-perfect wining and dining are thoroughly met.
Power and verve
The VQ58 is a real joy to drive. Its incredible agility, lightning-fast acceleration and superlative comfort make it the top option for those who refuse to accept mediocrity and mainstream design. The VQ58 is a true Vanquish, meaning it is certainly not meant for everybody. Some of the most striking elements on board this unique vessel are the twin MAN i6-800 inline six-cylinder engines, fitted at the owner’s express request. Combined with two surface drives, these amazing engines allow the VQ58 to develop speeds in excess of 45 knots, and even more than 50 knots for the Veloce version! In addition to being extraordinarily powerful, these engines received the Red Dot Award for their innovative design in 2016.
